So looking up Left4Dead1 server commands I found these launch commands. They'll work on any Valve FPS!

-noforcemaccel (removes mouse acceleration)
-noforcemparms has something to do with desktop buttons
-noforcemspd is the exact same as CPL mouse fix it was originally intended for games like UT and quake that couldn't use the start up commands to remove it

Seriously this and disabling VSync have made Left4Dead1&2 into completely different games for me. I'm not sure if I'll use these commands come the LAN this weekend as it makes me feel like a complete and utter noob again.

I was on Shacknews just now and I saw this mod and looks so awesome.

We should all have a round or 2 at the next LS, just for lulz.

Valve have announced a ginormous US$25 million advertising campaign for Left 4 Dead 2, despite the fact that Gabe Newell reckons that with the pre-sales orders they have, it'll be the fastest selling Valve title ever:Last year, Left 4 Dead was the top selling new property for both the Xbox 360 and PC. Sales were driven by strong word of mouth, top reviews, and a $10 million advertising campaign.

IceFrog has announced that he's going to lead a Team at Valve. No doubt we will see some variation of DotA come from Valve in years to come from now.

That or they're thinking of making a dev team for StarCraft II to sell it in-game on Battle.Net (somehow I doubt that)
