GameON was fun!

We ended up having 9 LS gamers show up so I roped in a few strangers to get the $12 entry fee instead of $18 which was nice.

Myself, Jump, Sensator, Webberist, Tmd02, Belthor, Aeonyx, were the people's name that I remembered. Sorry to the new smasher's, I can't remember your aliases but I'll catch up with you guys at SantaSmash!

Downstairs was my favourite section with retro gaming arcade and console machines. Some of the machines weren't functioning which was a pity, but considering their over 30 years old it's understandable.

I've never played Tron before in an arcade, and after playing it at Game On I can see how awesome this game really was. Very disco lights.

Upstairs was mostly 90's+ gaming consoles with a handful of new machines. An awesome battle mech simulator from japan was there, which is a controller that plugs into an original Xbox. It was so complicated, the best thing I could do with it was eject from the cabin. I was able to get into 5th gear eventually in one mech.

Probably the most unique thing I saw was a teenage girl trying to play DooM for the first time on a PC. It was just strange, as there were no instructions she had to figure out the keys herself, and seeing her reaction when an Demon comes charging to her was hilarious.

Photo's weren't allowed, which wouldn't have mattered since I didn't have a camera, but I was able to take a quick pic of Sensator smashing Space Invaders.

Oh and playing Galaga was awesome as always...
