Last 2 times, we've had a good amount of TVs/Wii's on both days but then too many people that just came for day 1 take their TVs (fair enough of course) and we are a bit short.

Yeah, SF4 guys should get priority with the LCD TV's/monitors.

If you've got CRT's, we'll take em. Generally speaking, Smash runs much nicer on anything other than an LCD/Plasma. Even the component cables don't help much.

Are people able to only pay $15.00 for entry
if they are not interested in playing the LS comps ?

$15.00 is the entry fee, $25.00 for two days. Entry Fees to paid comps are on top of that. We have plenty of free comps though, all comps are optional.

Saturday Specific Details added

For the PC gamers, Saturday is the casual day and by casual I mean full of every game anyone wants to play.

Saturday is the day we throw open to you, the PC gamer to tell us what you want to play. We've had solid requests for a COD server and at WinterSmash we will bring an FFA server and co-ordinate a casual comp for all to join. Of course America's Army 3 should it prove worthy will be given a whirl too. Of course don't get me wrong here, just cause tomorrow hosts the TF2 and L4D comps there will be plaenty of thsoe two games going around for sure.

For the RTS Fans this will be a great day to play DotA and due to the casual nature of the day we could probably even comfortably manage a game of Tanks. For the purists though all is not lost, Red Alert 3 has seen recent discussion on the LS forums and I'm sure there will be a few gamers keen to play a few rounds of that too. I don't doubt the even StarCraft will rear it's head especially citing the impending release of StarCraft II.

Closer to the event we'll also announce an old school game for the day and we'll run a mini comp in that too.

Saturday is all about the casual fun, finding new games, playing games you haven't played in sooooo long you've forgotten about it. It gives us awesome flexibility to play what ever we want.

I reckon gamertags can break the rules. It's about expressing who you are and leaving a searing image of yourself in your opponent as he waits for respawn.

I'm thinking of changing my nick to XXXxxXXXst@@@@@@kb0000yeeexxxxxXXxxxxx, for artistic sakes.

I'm fine with gamertags to an extent, but when you start putting it into your everyday talking, it starts to get a bit annoying lol.

I've noticed I've also been putting lol in my everyday speech. :( Next I'll be saying stupid stuff like "smiley face" and "sad face" instead of actually smiling or frowning...

What does the Z actually stand for?

I normally pronounce that as Zoh-my-God :D

Nothing, I figure zomg is like pwn, its just a typo that became a popular internet meme.

But I can understand what pwn generally relates to, ZOMG just seems to be OMG with a Z added on.

It doesn't have a purpose or anything at all, other then changing the pronunciation.

EDIT: Then again, the same thing could be said of ZOMG.
